Wild Women Hawai'i
presents...
Free to Be
An end-of-Summer Retreat
for women in Hawai'i!

Friday, August 25 to Sunday, August 27, 2023

Disconnect from the busy world and nurture yourself in the forest.
Here, you are free to be!
Free to breathe!
Free to experience comfort and unconditional friendship among other women!
Free to experience a deep sense of belonging.

We will be immersed in healthy living practices including therapeutic meditation, nourishing food, healing nature, and sharing circles among women in a nonjudgmental safe space, all under the majestic canopy of a beautiful forest.

Regardless of your beliefs, age, culture, and lifestyle, and whether you are deeply rooted through generations in Hawai’i, newly rooted from elsewhere in the world, or anywhere in between, you are welcome here with the agreement to show mutual respect and kindness for one another.

Nurture your inner peace, indulge in your senses, go offline, and find simplicity while we temporarily and honorably disconnect from the busy world and come back to ourselves.

About

My name is Michelle Gallagher Escobar

I am the founder and owner of Wild Women Hawai'i and the facilitator for this retreat. My vision and dream is to promote a supportive sisterhood among all women in Hawai'i nei. I have lived in Hilo on the Big Island for 30 years, and Wild Women Hawai'i is a recognition of the need for sisterhood support in the islands.

Forest

“A circle of women may just be the most powerful force known to humanity. If you have one, embrace it. If you need one, seek it. If you find one, for the love of all that is good and sacred, dive in. Hold on. Love it up. Let them see you. Let them hold you. Let your reluctant tears fall. Let yourself rise fierce and love gentle. You will be changed. The very fabric of your being will be altered by this, if you allow it. Please, please allow it.”

― Jeanette LeBlanc

Wild Women Hawai'i may include women-centered ceremonies that are inspired by global traditions and cultures, however, the purpose is never to indoctrinate or focus on a single belief system. Religious or political debate and indoctrination are not a welcome or intended part of the retreat or any Wild Women Hawai'i event.

Wild Women Hawai'i retreats and events are also intended as a safe sisterhood space away from networking and advertising.

Regardless of your beliefs, age, culture, race, ethnicity, and lifestyle, and whether you are deep
