Retreat Schedule & Info
What will happen at the retreat?
"Free to Be" is intentionally not a fitness or yoga retreat. Our goal is for you to enjoy peaceful, meaningful, and fun experiences while embracing the "ahhhh" of nature and the joy and support of being around other women.
The retreat will include invitations to circles, women-empowered ceremony, movement, meditation, meaningful crafting, nature exploration, and more, but you will be free to choose and follow your own flow. You can do everything we offer, or you may want to dip in and out as you desire.

*‘Free Being’ is open space in the day for you to take time for yourself. Perhaps you will choose to journal or draw, read a book in one of the many nooks, enjoy the open lawn space, hike one of the trails with friends, or just lay on a blanket and absorb all that is happening under the beautiful forest canopy. 'Pop-ups' are various offerings from our guests.
The retreat is designed for women of all ages from age 21 to our wise women elders.
We will hold space for 15 to 28 women who come from all over Hawai'i nei with different stories and experiences.
This is a closed retreat.
We ask you to put aside the time to experience the whole retreat, from welcome to closing, without leaving or coming-and-going from the park. Not only is this beneficial for you, it also maintains a safe, nurturing space for everyone throughout the Retreat. Obviously, we understand you may need to leave for emergencies or illness.
Cellphones
We encourage you, as much as possible, to disconnect from your phone and give yourself an electronics retreat. Please leave your phone on silent or shut down throughout the retreat. Since this is a safe space where we are free to let down our guard, videotaping or recording is not permitted. Pictures are permitted only with the permission of the sisters you are photographing. Also, be aware that cellphone service is very spotty in Kalopa Park.
Retreat Limit
For the retreat to take place, we require a minimum of 15 participants. The maximum number of participants for this retreat is 28 plus the team.
