Below are the terms and conditions for this retreat with Wild Women Hawai'i at Kalopa Park.

All Wild Women Hawai'i events are drug, alcohol, and smoke free.

We reserve the right to refuse service at any time.

Cancellation Policy

  • 100% deposit refund for cancellation 60+ days before retreat start date.

  • 50% deposit refund for cancellation 30-59 days before retreat start date.

  • 0% deposit refund for cancellation 0-29 days before retreat start date

Wild Women Hawai'i Retreat Terms & Conditions

By booking a retreat, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions that govern the relationship, the cancellation policy, and limitations of liability. These Terms and Conditions affect your rights and designate the governing law and forum for the resolution of any and all disputes. Please read them carefully as you will be bound by them. These Terms shall constitute the entire agreement between Wild Women Hawai'i LLC ("Wild Women Hawai'i") and the participant relating to the subject matter herein and shall constitute a binding agreement. 

 

Wild Women Hawai'i will contact you within 48 hours regarding your completed registration and payment to confirm your participation in the retreat.

 

We reserve the right to refuse service. If we refuse service at least 30 days before the retreat, we will promptly refund your payment minus any third party fees that we have been charged for the booking. If we refuse service within 30 days, including during the retreat, no refund will be issued. Failure to adhere to these Terms & Conditions may result in excusal from the retreat, without refund.

Please note that Wild Women Hawai'i only offers retreats and related activities to women 21 years of age and over. We currently serve only women who live in Hawai'i with the intention of supporting a sisterhood in the islands.  Contact admin for exceptions.

Before registering and paying for this retreat, you agree to the following rules of all Wild Women Hawai'i events:

  1. Self promotion, business promotion, religious promotion, spam, panhandling, and solicitation of any kind, are not allowed physically in-person at Wild Women Hawai'i events or via public posts, direct messages or other direct method.

  2. This event is intended as a safe space for adult women only.

  3. Being part of this event requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What's shared in the group should stay in the group.

  4. We're all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let's treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.

  5. Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed. Degrading comments about anything such as race, belief system, culture, sexual identity, appearance, disability, or identity will not be tolerated.

  6. In consideration of the risk of injury while participating in Wild Women Hawai'i events, you are voluntarily participating in the activity entirely at your own risk.

  7. Guests and pets will not be allowed into the event area at any time.

  8. All Wild Women Hawai'i events are drug, alcohol, and smoke free.

This is a closed retreat.
We ask you to put aside the time to experience the whole retreat, from welcome to closing, without leaving or coming-and-going. Not only is this beneficial for you, it also maintains a safe, nurturing space for everyone throughout the Retreat. Obviously, we understand you may need to leave for emergencies or illness.

Cellphones

We encourage you, as much as possible, to disconnect from your phone and give yourself an electronics retreat. Please leave your phone on silent or shut down throughout the retreat. Since this is a safe space where we are free to let down our guard, videotaping or recording is not permitted. Pictures are permitted only with the permission of the sisters you are photographing. Also, be aware that cellphone service is very spotty in Kalopa Park.

For the retreat to take place, we require a minimum of 15 participants.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 100% deposit refund for cancellation 60+ days before retreat start date.

  • 50% deposit refund for cancellation 30-59 days before retreat start date.

  • 0% deposit refund for cancellation 0-29 days before retreat start date

Under no circumstances is your payment refundable within 29 days of the event unless Wild Women Hawai'i cancels the retreat. Tickets are not exchangeable. Offers cannot be combined. This is a rain-or-shine event.

THIS IS A DRUG-FREE, SMOKE-FREE, AND ALCOHOL-FREE EVENT. Anyone actively engaging in such during the retreat may be immediately dismissed from the event without a refund.

Wild Women Hawai'i will do its best to meet special requests including dietary or physical limitations but such requests may not always be possible, in which case Wild Women Hawai'i reserves the right to refuse participants with certain conditions.
Wild Women Hawai'i will do its best to meet the participant's special requests including dietary, but such requests do not form part of the agreement and therefore Wild Women Hawai'i is not liable for not providing these requests.

By participating in this event, you agree to be responsible for your own health and safety. You agree to be responsible for your own medical insurance and/or medical bills in case of an emergency. This retreat should not be overly strenuous for women who are healthy and reasonably fit. If you are affected by any condition, medical or otherwise, that might affect your or other people’s enjoyment of the retreat, you must advise us of this at the time of booking. If your health or fitness changes between the time of booking and the retreat, you must notify Wild Women Hawai'i of these changes before the retreat starts.

In consideration of the risk of injury while participating in Wild Women Hawai'i Retreats (the “Activity”), and as consideration for being allowed to participate in the Activity, I hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, assigns, or personal representatives, knowingly and voluntarily enter into this waiver and release of liability and hereby waive any and all rights, claims or causes of action of any kind whatsoever arising out of my participation in the Activity, and do hereby release and forever discharge Wild Women Hawai’i LLC, affiliates, managers, members, agents, attorneys, staff, volunteers, heirs, representatives, predecessors, successors, and assigns, for any physical or psychological injury, including but not limited to illness, paralysis, death, dismemberment, damages, economical or emotional loss, that I may suffer as a direct result of my participation in the aforementioned Activity. I am voluntarily participating in the aforementioned activity and I am participating in the activity entirely at my own risk. I am aware of the risks associated with traveling to and from as well as participating in the activity, which may include but are not limited to, physical or psychological injury, pain, suffering, illness, disfigurement, and temporary or permanent disability. I understand that these injuries or outcomes may arise from my own or others’ negligence, travel conditions, or the activity location's condition. Nonetheless, I assume all related risks, both known or unknown to me, of my participation in this activity, including travel to, from, and during this activity. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wild Women Hawai’i LLC against any and all claims, suits, or actions of any kind whatsoever for liability, damages, compensation, or otherwise brought by me or anyone on my behalf, including attorney fees and any related costs. This Agreement was entered without duress or coercion and is to be interpreted as an agreement between two parties of equal bargaining strength. Both the Participant and Wild Women Hawai’i LLC agree that this Agreement is clear and unambiguous as to its terms, and that no other evidence will be used or admitted to alter or explain the terms of this Agreement, but that it will be interpreted based on the language in accordance with the purposes for which it is entered into.
By participating in this event, I acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that I may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 by attending the activity and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 during this activity may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to volunteers and program participants and their families. I understand and agree that this release includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of Wild Women Hawai’i LLC whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after participation in any Wild Women Hawai’i event.

 

Kalopa Park Rules

These are the rules of Kalopa Park. It is imperative that we abide by these rules, as we are guests in their park and we hope to have more events there in the future.

Park rules are designed to help you and others have an enjoyable visit while protecting the cultural and natural resources.

Always observe and adhere to posted signs in the parks.

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES: The use or possession of alcoholic beverages is prohibited.

• FIREWORKS AND FIREARMS: Use or possession of fireworks, firecrackers, explosives, firearms a n d o t h e r weapons is prohibited.

Smoking, including E-cigarettes, and the use of tobacco products in State Parks, is prohibited.

• FIRES: Fires are allowed only in the fireplaces and grills designated by State Parks. Portable stoves or warming devices may be used in designated camping and picnicking areas unless otherwise prohibited. Dump live coals only in designated ash pits or receptacles.

• GENERATORS: Operation or use of any portable electric generator is prohibited, except with a special use permit.

• PETS and other animals are prohibited in campgrounds and cabins.

• NUDITY is prohibited.

• VEHICLES: Drive and park motor vehicles only on designated roads and parking areas provided or posted for such usage.

• WASTE DISPOSAL: Place all waste in provided trash cans only and pack out all trash from wilderness parks.

• NOISE: Do not operate or use any audio device, television or musical instrument in such a manner and at such times so as to create excessive noise or nuisance.

• WILDLIFE:Leave the wildlife and their habitat undisturbed except where hunting and fishing is permitted subject to all applicable laws and regulations.

• PLANTS: Leave all plant life undisturbed. Do not cut trees for firewood. Where permitted, reasonable quantities of fruits and seeds may be gathered for personal use.

• NATURAL AND CULTURAL RESOURCES: Leave all geological, historical, and archaeological features undisturbed.

• Do not leave valuables unattended. Lock your car. Do not leave valuables even in locked cars.

• Persons should use good judgment while using the parks and facilities. Security service is not provided

Wild Women Hawai'i may include women-centered ceremonies that are inspired by global traditions and cultures, however, the purpose is never to indoctrinate or focus on a single belief system. Religious or political debate and indoctrination are not a welcome or intended part of the retreat or any Wild Women Hawai'i event.

 

Wild Women Hawai'i retreats and events are also intended as a safe sisterhood space away from networking and advertising.

Regardless of your beliefs, age, culture, race, ethnicity, and lifestyle, and whether you are deep
ly rooted through generations in Hawai’i, newly rooted from elsewhere in the world, or anywhere in between, you are welcome here with the agreement to show mutual respect and kindness for one another.

This is a drug, alcohol, and smoke free event.

We reserve the right to refuse service.
