Questions & Answers

Where will we sleep?

There are 4 shared cabins with 8 hostel-style beds in each cabin. The spacious European hostel-style rooms have plenty of space between the beds for extra privacy. You can also bring a tension rod and pareo, curtain, or other lightweight fabric with clips for added privacy and to create your own cozy space for your bunk, if you wish.

I have special dietary needs. Will I need to bring my own food?

Our chef will prepare our meals for vegetarians, however, she will adjust individual meals to suit special dietary needs (ie: allergies, vegan, gluten-free, etc.) if you inform us ahead of time when you book so we can plan ahead.

Is bedding included?

You will need your own bedding. We recommend a pillow and a sleeping bag or warm blanket. Each bunk has a thick waterproof mattress pad. We recommend bringing an extra pad and/or comforter to sleep on for maximum comfort and coziness.

What should I bring?

A welcome packet will be emailed in early August with a packing list and any further information you will need.

Can I come alone?

Absolutely! The retreat is designed for women traveling alone or with friends to strengthen our island 'ohana and build a state-wide sisterhood. You will surely make life-long friends quickly, however, there is no pressure. Your personal space will be respected if it is peace and quiet you crave. There are plenty of private nooks for you to bask in the peacefulness of nature as well.

Can I share my special talent or offering at the retreat?

We will have 'pop-up' space for guest sharing at a specified time during the retreat. Please contact us if you would like to volunteer to share your talent or offering.
